Krillion-inspired: Start with the prompt’s boundaries
Read the whole prompt before typing. A category can sound broad while one detail narrows it: a bird with a long beak, a tool used in a kitchen, or something that orbits Earth. Hold that constraint in mind so a quick association still fits the question.
Use a short association chain
Name the first answer silently, then branch once or twice. For an ocean animal, “fish” might lead to habitat, shape, or behavior. That second step can surface a more specific creature without sending you far outside the category.
- Place: Where would you encounter it?
- Function: What does it do or help someone do?
- Subtypes: Is there a precise species, tool, or object name?
- Contrast: What less familiar example shares the same trait?
Choose a word you can name precisely
Specificity is useful only when the word is a real match. Prefer a term you can spell and connect directly to the prompt over an obscure guess. In Quizzara, a recognized answer is part of the prompt’s answer bank; a free-form association that is not in that list will not score.
Keep the timer in view
Spend the first few seconds understanding the category, then choose a promising branch. If you do not recognize a typed answer, revise it while time remains. You can also skip and protect the rest of the dive instead of spending the full 25 seconds on one prompt.
Practice by theme
Endless mode separates prompts into ocean, space, and everyday themes. A short themed session can make useful categories easier to reach from memory. Your depth score is based on the curated rarity values in the game, not a survey of player answers.
